Elizabeth Gillies

Gillies began her career as an actress as a child at the age of 12, when she began attending open castings held in local theaters. She quickly began appearing in commercials for companies like Virgin Mobile. Gillies made her debut on television in a appearance as a character for three episodes of The Black Donnellys. The parents of her did not permit her to see the entire show as they thought it was inappropriate. (citation needed) She played minor roles in the shows The Clique Harold as well as Locker 504 between 2008 and 2009. In the summer, Ariana, who would later appear in Victorious alongside her, was brought on as Lucy in a Goodspeed Production in Jason Robert Brown's 13 musical. Following that it was the year that the Broadway production of the show was out, and became the first Broadway production with all cast members comprised of teens. Gillies' two greatest numbers, "Opportunity", and "It can't be true" and "It can't be true" were and were followed by smaller parts in numbers such as "Hey Kendra", "Getting Ready", and the title song.
